Bonhams is gearing up for its upcoming Amelia Island auction on March 2, and two Nissan Skyline GT-R models will be up for grabs. The R32 and R34 versions of the Skyline GT-R are considered some of the most sought-after iterations of the iconic Japanese sports car.

The first model, known as "the very last Godzilla," is an R32-based race car that won the final Japanese Touring Car Group A championship race. This brightly colored Group A 'BP Trampio' race car was previously campaigned by Tom Kristensen, who holds the record for the most Le Mans victories. The AWD car produces 600 horsepower and is expected to fetch between $375,000-$475,000.

The second Skyline GT-R is a unique R34 V-Spec N1 'Mine's Tribute.' With only 56 N1 versions sold to the public, it's considered the rarest, most powerful, fastest, and lightest production R34 GT-R. This particular example has been built as a part-for-part recreation of the Mine's Motorsport N1 demo car and has been featured in various international publications. The NHTSA approved a petition for Show or Display eligibility, and the car is tuned to 650 hp on 100 octane fuel. The tribute is expected to fetch $400,000-$500,000.

Car enthusiasts and collectors alike will undoubtedly be eager to bid on these rare and sought-after Skyline GT-R models at Bonhams' upcoming Amelia Island auction.
